50 children from Wilmington, New Castle, and Newark participated in our 5-week summer camp. Weekly swimming lessons, trips to the Grand Opera House, Wilmington Farmer’s Market, and tubing down the Brandywine River were just some of the fun activities campers were able to experience. Reading and math enrichment classes along with music lessons and arts and crafts rounded out their daily schedules.
On Sunday, July 27, at 7:30 am, our Director was featured on WDEL 1150 AM’s program “Pathways to Service”.
Arreon Harley and Carol Ann Weisenfeld, past governor of Rotary District 7630, held a lively discussion — highlighting key events of the past year, including last month’s Gala Concert, our experience as a traveling choir, as well as the continued successes in academics, music and character building of our choristers.
Arreon Harley serves as Director of Music and Operations at the Cathedral Choir School of Delaware, a 501(c)3 after school program that provides fully scholarshipped music training, mentoring, homework help and leadership development in a safe and secure downtown Wilmington setting.
