What Does a Gift Do?

Your generous gifts enable youth, in the greater Wilmington area, attend our after-school music education and mentoring program. All students receive full scholarships to participate in the Choir School as long as they demonstrate a genuine commitment to the music, its mission, and rigorous training schedule. Singing nearly every week during the school year fosters an environment of learning and musicianship. During the summer we offer a 5-week Summer Camp open to all children. Our camp program “bridge the academic gap” between school years with math & reading instruction and music education & singing in an environment of traditional summer camp fun!

$150 Supplies a uniform for a chorister

$250 Provides sheet music for one chorister for a year

$500 Underwrites daily transportation to the Choir School for one student; this is needed by 90% of our families

$750 Sponsors a Summer Camp student

$1,000 Provides weekly piano lessons, vocal instruction and musicianship lessons for one student

$2,400 Underwrites the full cost of a Summer Camp scholarship for one camper

$4,250 Supports a semester scholarship for one student

$8,500 Supports a full annual scholarship for one student

Time – Helps our students to succeed! Consider being a mentor and share your interests, skills, experiences and expertise with a student. Mentors typically meet for one hour per week during the school year. You can also assist students with homework, piano practice, learning a new skill or joining us as a chaperone.
